Trying to relive my childhood with a classic Sesame Street clip, and a stupid commercial (from the CIH Hit Parade) interrupts the experience!
Try it for yourself: |

Are you talking about the commercials that appear at the beginning of videos on Youtube? Those are only seen on the Youtube site. They disappear when the video's posted at CIH. |

Well, maybe I should post YouTube videos at CIH more often! |

Sometimes they will let you skip the commercial after the first few seconds.
Photosuckit jams it in your face before the download starts and if your speakers are turned up it's enough to scare the dog.

Get Adblock...you won't see a Youtube ad again. |

I know what you are talking about, it happened to me once last week while watching a video. I can tolerate most of the ads in the beginning, at least the ones that you can click out of after 5 seconds, but the ones that cut your video in half is totally uncalled for.
And no, I am not going to use my real name on Youtube so STOP ASKING ME EVERYTIME I LOG ON!!!! |

That was very annoying. Now that I think of it, since I switched to Google Chrome a month or so ago, it's stopped. Maybe that was their ultimate goal to begin with. |
