Big smileYAY!
One of my 'Top Five Wastes of Time and Entertainment' - became a huge fan, last year (this is the second season - and so far, shockingly better than the first, which was pretty much a 'jaw-dropper').
EXCELLENT series - right up there with 'Justified'.
This morning we had a mini-Longmire marathon; a nice 'wake-up' for a night interrupted by work and 'Father's Day Well-Wishes' from the pups...
The show has really great story lines, likeable and realistic people.

I've been interested in trying this...need to see if it's on Hulu/Netflix.

I believe the new season starts tonight or tomorrow, 9pm central time.

ShockedBig smile...anyone who saw the season finale ('Ashes to Ashes') may feel like I do - possibly one of the finest 'wrap-ups' written for a series...and then, at the very last moment, everyone was left with one hell of a 'cliff hanger', just as anyone may have thought the series could have come to a logical end...

ShockedCryHOLY COW!!! A&E cancelled 'Longmire'.
Never saw this coming - everyone I know who has watched an episode of this show has ended up all hung up on it, including me...and I *just* commented on the season finale, which was spectacular, but has a heck of a 'cliff hanger'...
'Branch' (the suspended deputy) and his father skeet shooting, as Branch paws a little too deep at his father's past (which is appearing very questionable), both holding loaded shotguns, the scene flips to Walt (main character) driving up to the front of their property, parks, but is in the distance, out of sight...the screen goes blank with the final line from Branch's dad:
"I'm too old to create another fortune, but I'm not too old to raise another son..." <shotgun blast>
~~~
And then A&E CANCELS the show!
Seems A&E had no idea of the fan base - all hell is breaking loose and the show is being shopped, so it should show up somewhere - I HOPE.
Very well written, fantastic show.
Lou Diamond Phillips has played one of the main characters all along (Walt's best friend) - maybe some of his very best work.
Of course the best ones are always canceled. Figures as much.
Now why don't the TV execs do us a favor and cancel Selfies?
The series is being shopped to other networks - it is sure to get picked up.
A&E didn't create the show - they licensed it from an independant group, so it wasn't as cheap as a reality show like 'Drunk Dump Truck Drivers of Dallas', or whatever the likes they'll put their name behind next, doncha know
