Poor Elvis is spinning in his grave.

Really, who have the permission to use that song?

I am really getting sick of having to hear about essentially some poor a-hole not being able to get it  up.

And the stuff is positioned as if it is an aphrodisiac,  of which, obviously, there is no such thing.

Viagra is a circulatory drug.  If bad circulation is causing your problem, it might help.  But if you have good circulation, VIAGRA DOES NOTHING, the problem is YOU.

Just another con job pulled off by the Pharma industry.

We really are a pretty friendly bunch, Tom, and we love having new folks join the fray.  It's just with the Viagra thing, we'd really hoped we'd so thoroughly trashed this that it would never "rise up" again.LOL

We could all sign this petition to try to stop the pharm ads:

stopdrugads.org

But then we'd have 50% less to complain about! Confused

I don't know what good it will do, but I signed the Petition. We need to get these Abominations off the Air, at least at times when Children are Watching!

And we'd have to warn that stopping pharm ads is not for everyone, and should be avoided by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant.  LOL

...and the 'childish hypochondriacs'!

I see these commercials, too - and I get soooooo confused!
  • are they educating me about new diseases?
  • maybe I HAVE one of these new diseases! Or maybe just an old one...at least I have SOMETHING, eh?
  • am I susceptible to 'the power of suggestion'?
  • are they educating me about new treatments?
  • are they trying to kill me?
So I NEED their drugs - not sure which ones, yet - maybe all of 'em!
Better I know about all these new drugs - it'll help my doctors, I just know it. I know it's important we be able to describe what's going on and why I'm at the Doc's in the first place - so why not provide him my diagnosis and be able to advise him of a proper treatment regimine...

Well...going to have to cut this short, 'cause, doncha know, "I gotta go, gotta go, gotta go RIGHT NOW!" - and right after I do, why...well, yes - I seem to be suffering from something... seems dysfunctional...

There is just no reason to advertise the blue pill any more.
If an adult male out there that has no idea there is a noodle hardener in this day and age, I'd be floored.  It makes as much sense as still advertising McD's or Coke.  These things are so ingrained into our psyche, that it seems a waste of money making commercials.
was feeling nostalgic
