Yea, Jimbo never posts here and probably never reads what is posted here, so maybe we can all just talk about HIM here - yea, right here....

(Slept SO good, last night...)
Actually passed out in the easy chair, first...rolled over on the remote and switched to THIS t.v., which was showing a movie I can never take my eyes off of, yet just cannot watch due to the storyline. It also features my favorite version of my favorite classical piece: Barcarolle, from 'The Tales of Hoffmann' and centerpieced well in the movie 'La Vita è Bella' ('Life is Beautifu'). I drifted out of the haze about half way through the Opera scene, not remembering the last time I felt as good as I did at that moment...

Had to change out a toilet this a.m. Emergency # pager ringing every 10 minutes. Knew who it was, snaked her toilet twice last week.
Might be in trouble tomorrow when Office opens, I cursed at her and asked what was her horse's name that left that poop in the toilet for me to get out. I'm drinking hard now to forget that image. That is all.

You should've left some Dulcolax Stool Softener on her bathroom sink. But I'm just impressed with a dump that could break a toilet! |

Nah, just install an industrial-strength bidet attachment so the next time she has a troublesome sh*t, just press a button and 50 gallons a second chops those redwoods into toilet-friendly splinters.

We talked about those little push-on plumbing fittings a few weeks back, I'd installed a couple on a laundry tub's supply lines.
Everything was fine until about a week ago, stepped on a wet rug. Inspection revealed a small leak at the cold water push on fitting... so much as touch it and the leak got worse. Put a bowl under it and went and bought a compression fitting that I was waiting until after this weekend to switch out. Good thing I waited, or I'd have had to pull the sink out twice. This morning... wet rug. Push-on fitting at the hot water line has started leaking out of nowhere. Now it's back to Lowes to get another compression union before I pull the sink again. Hall of Lame inductee: Push-on pipe fittings. I'll never buy another one as long as I live, I don't care how well they've worked for anyone else.

Beloved MissyDWolf called with holiday wishes and to ask the folks if I'd worn out my welcome yet and did she need to come get me and take me home. Then she decides to go over the budget and current billing. Then she wants argue about the best way to get to or favorite Mexican diner in Niagara Falls - getting there going my directions are better when considering our Den, but when considering the Gurlz' townhome (where she's been since I came down here), her directions are better - so we ended up nipping at each other about what side of the street we were on. THEN...well, I forget...I guess as soon as the Folks get back from their Ireland 'Home & Family' trip, I have to go settle down a cranky Missus for a bit and take her to our favorite Mexican restaurant (going her directions).

These older toilets, no matter how much you plunge or snake, just loose their suction power over time. No call backs and didn't hear anything about my foul language.

If I was that renter, and I took a dump that could kill a toilet, I think I'd just let the matter rest, too. |

Looking like I'll be heading to Best Buy shortly for a new mouse. It seems to be losing it's clicky function. Even cleaning it and moving the chord to another usb port doesn't help.

I got a cordless mouse there awhile back. It was like $7.50. Works fine. |
