How about the Throw Up Plan for when you're hit with this obnoxious ad which runs constantly! Gerber Life should be indicted for hawking this fraudulent crap. IT'S LIFE INSURANCE FOR GOD'S SAKE! Just like the nauseating Gerber "College Plan" commercials. But this one is probably the worst. It's presented like some kind of investment opportunity to the ill informed by claiming that "protection doubles to $20,000" by the time the kid turns 18. Just do the math: For probably less than what these crooks are charging in monthly premiums, you could accumulate that much or more just by putting the money away in a simple savings account.

Gerber, go back to selling baby food.

At least you'll know such a plan exists for any kids you decide to have.
Good to have a plan.

AHH, this ad. I swear it airs on CNN about 2000 times in a 24 hour period.
Either the one with the green graphics. or this. Is this a therapy group?
The short haired brunette drives me nuts.

Moderator: "Anyone here saved up..."
Whiny brunette "-hehe- oh no, not me. Don't have time.."

Don't have time, or money? Get specific woman!
There is a difference.

^  It's an insurance policy, so if your kid croaks, you cash it in.  I dunno what happens if your kid commits suicide.  I don't think life insurance policies pay out on that.

I've been the victim of this commercial for the past 8 years, it all its low-definition glory. I can not stand this commercial. "We gotta get started" UGH. "oh, that's different!" - drives me insane.

This "Branding" thing drives me nuts.  Gerber is an established name in baby food, so if they sell life insurance or a college plan, people are supposed to think, "I know that name, it must be good."

Good grief Sick

Exactly - plus it's an obnoxious commercial with a horrible, contrived script!

Agreed!  They do this, thinking putting the Gerber name on it will make it seem legit and a great deal looking out for your best interests.

Their food sucks anyway.  I stopped eating it before my first birthday.

Same here. None of my children can stand eating their food. Too bland and mass-produced.
