I don't know if it's the same across the country, but some of our local building contractors use incredibly bad singing jingles.

The LOCAL commercials, in Albany, are THE WORST.
I never could figure that one out; the area is, overall, pretty creative and intelligent, so this made NO sense.
Around here, we've got folks like HUGHSCO; a good home insulation company - but they got that 'leave ;em with a jungle' thing down pat...even have kids singing and yelling, which makes it all that much worse.

This stupid jingle soon morphed into PBS-20's slogan, "The Power of Possibilities".  www.wfyi.org.

ahhhhhhhhhhh....BM, I ACTUALLY like the real cut....and it was put in proper perspective (in a rather violent scene in the movie, "The Jacket") - I don't know why, but that cut doesn't bother me.

"You can't take the country out of Salem"  (late 1960s)

Pa, I love Carley Simon but I'm going to have to ask you:

GO SIT IN THE CORNER! for putting this song (and the commercial) back into my head! Don't come out, young man, until Carley Simon and James Taylor get back together! LOL

Carly Simon is one of my all-time favorites (and so is JT).  I love singing her stuff; when I used to sing in school, she was my idol.  And I love the song "Anticipation."  That commercial isn't really running anywhere anymore, is it?

Also, I always laugh at the "It's crumbelievable," because of the emotion the guy packs into it.Big%20smile

Autozone "Parts parts, gimme parts parts"

This ad is from about 4 years ago, but it came on as often as the freecreditreport.com that it left an emotional scar.  Not only was the song annoying, but my pet peeve at the end, the entire store looking so busy with people walking around real fast, and employees in succession walking out to the register smiling with a product in their hand.  Also at the end showing the outside of the store with a full parking lot, one car leaving while another car arrives.  Giving off the image that they are sooo busy.  I hated this commercial sooooo much.  Enjoy (or dont enjoy)

Carly Simon music was quite acceptable for guys to love eons ago.  Carly knew how to make that happen.

"Hey, this stuff's good", Joe Nineteenseventytwo says as he listens to "Da-deeee, I'm no viiirgin" while staring halfway down that front cover.
