I'm tired of these "______ is responsible for this content"! They might as well say "______ is responsible for this content, so f**k you"!
Thank God for kids who love Obscure Things.

You KNOW if the word "Patriot" is in the sponsor's name, it's MAGA, ands therefore "fake news"

It's the same BS every term. Democrat gets elected president, RED WAVE takes over Congress and the Senate in the midterms.... Republican gets elected president, BLUE WAVE takes over Congress and the Senate in the midterms....

It's just a never-ending cyclic gridlock, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, the earth's climate gets worse, I'll never be able to retire... Is this really what life's all about? Screw it. But hey, I voted. Ermm

I'll be glad when I don't have to see these ads anymore.

I am SO, SO GLAD this is finally over! PA started airing these way back in freggin Jan, Feb. Since Labor Day and especially the past 6-7 weeks they were absolutely non-stop, you'd see 4-5+ ads in a row, on ever single channel!

I thought it was over yesterday but still saw a few last second ads around 7-8am from those slimy Super-PAC groups. I don't understand these ads personally, many already known damn well who they are going to vote for months in advance, no commercial will change their minds.

If anything, they turn so many off!

It was pretty much the same in Ohio.

Almost jarring to see normal commercials for once during local news tonight. The strangest ad this year was a PAC that portrayed Patty Murray as a Halloween skeletal ghost, because inflation has been sky-high.
Also, had to deal with constant ads for Kim Schrier (D) 8th district WA touting her R counterpart, Matt Larkin, as another "Marjorie Taylor Greene". And yet, unlike other Rs, Larkin never spent $$$ on TV advertising to counter Schrier. That race hasn't been called yet with 60% of the ballots counted.
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

I still have to fast forward through them on shows I've taped. And one candidate who got 18% of the vote still has huge signs all over the city on public property.

I effing hate that!!! Pick up your stupid posters, loser!!!. Beloveds boss owns a field across from his house where signs went up daily, Daily, you ask? Because Beloved took them down day after day. Didn't matter if it was a candidate his boss was supporting. It was a "take these effing eye sores off my property" after he contacted the committees responsible.

I wrote a short story a while ago where a politician found hundreds of his signs stuck in his yard (and a news crew out front) one morning a couple of weeks after the election.  Sheriff wouldn't do anything about the "vandalism", and the ultimate culprits were a couple of teen potheads (yeah, potheads doing work, that's believable...  )  It would be funny if something like this actually happened...  Wink

I think in Toledo, if you don't pick up your political signs after the election, you could be fined.
