There used to be a thread to post your favourite (favorite) song today, but a search for it turned up empty...so I'm starting off a new one.
What is your favourite song as of right now (today, anyway)? Mine is: "Musica ex Machina" -- Karl Bartos |

I've put "Feeling Groovy" on repeat for the past few days. It's helped improve my mood (but not today, though, 'cause sh*t went wrong...)

My favorite song this day every year. Kinda sad. I never saw this video...also kind of sad, considering. |

Recently saw an old clip of them as very young kids performing on an Australian TV show. Well, I saw it posted. Didn't watch it. Probably on YouTube. |

1. Ever see those electric violinists in shopping center parking lots, playing for $? Frauds!!! 2. Reminds me of Dave Edmunds and Love Sculpture doing Khatchatourian's Sabre Dance from around 1969. |

I once Googled "electric violinist in parking lot" because I thought they sounded really good, but had some suspicions. I just did it again. Here's the first result: Police Department Warns of Violin Playing Parking Lot Scam https://www.sciotopost.com/police-department-warns-of-violin-playing-parking-lot-scam/ This is better: |

Not really a new scam.
I was watching one of those travel shows once where they were in Havana, Cuba. There were these old Cuban guys strolling along the sidewalk, "playing" acoustic guitars. One of them turned his guitar around and opened up a panel on the back to reveal that he had attached a cassette player inside which was hooked up to a speaker that was also inside. Thing was, everyone knew it so it was no big deal. |

I was a sucker for that for awhile...but only went so far as to stop and listen a few minutes. I didn't give them any money. But fake or real, it was nice to hear in a parking lot. |

I've started collecting karaoke CD's that I find in thrift stores. The music is pretty close to the original songs, but without most of the annoying lyrics that tend to drown it out. Cheap entertainment for a dollar...

You can hear Mick's joints popping at the beginning of the first one.
Whoever made it should have included some nice, loud fart noises when he had his back to the camera shaking his ass. |
