As soon as businesses get "immunity" from potential virus lawsuits, most of the mask restrictions will go away...

Thor said something about wearing a mask for a full 8 hour shift...I can't imagine how awful that might be. When I was at the dealership, wearing the cheap paper mask. The salesman's desk was next to a wall of windows. The sun beating down on us, I could barely breath. He was sweating too!

Yeah, left to their own devices, the Japanese come up with some odd stuff.

Yeah it's all her lip synching.
I was referring specifically to the OK Boomer song, though. I think it's some of that weird Crapanese crap that's popular with geeks and weirdos nowadays.

Isn't it all lip-synced? At one point, I hear Sophia Vergara, and I'm pretty sure it's Sophia Vergara. |

I think the song is some Japanese thing.
I don't think it's her voice. |

Yeah, yeah, yeah...incels, insults and sluts, sluts, sluts. Still, she's a-f*cking-dorable. It's even cute that she thinks she's a Bernie supporter. |

Meh. I was kind of hoping for/expecting some sarcastic jokes about what an annoying dipsh*t she is Figured maybe you'd even heard of her already. Apparently she became something of an internet sensation when, after mentioning in some social media thing that she had a boyfriend, she caused what was described as a "simp war". IOW, a bunch of sad, nerdy incels became violently upset that she was getting boned by some dude that wasn't (each of) them and threats were made, insults hurled back and forth and it went on for awhile. This guy explains it pretty well.... The only thing I can say is, I'd like to F her stupid, but that would be redundant. |

Oh, she's definitely cute...but compared to Didra??? Actually, there's a chance in hell I could score with Didra, and that accounts for 95% of it. Sad, huh? |

Which is odd because you'd think the one occasion per year where it is both customary and people are happy to... WEAR MASKS... would be perfect for this situation. Not to mention the "...scared, freaked out & jumpy..." part. Tailor made for Halloween. I'm planning to order a Halloween themed COVID mask anyway. Just in case I go out somewhere. |

Probably won't be a Halloween this year, either, people are just too scared, freaked out & jumpy...

The Mid-American Conference or MAC, where my local university plays out of, won't play this fall and will possibly return next spring.

I could do without all that stuff. On top of that, my birthday falls in the middle of it all...something else I could do without. Boy, I'm loads of fun, ain't I? |

I don't pay a lot of attention to college sports either. But it's big business, lots of revenue. The athletes work hard to be the best that they can be in a career that can end in an instant.

I'm torn. On one hand, the beginning of football is something that always signals the beginning of fall, with Labor Day on the horizon then Halloween and the Holiday Season right around the corner from that. This year, I'll have no harbinger. Plus, with all the PC bowing to social justice pressures to placate protected segments of society, I was hoping to see a mass boycott of sports by the largest portion of their fan and spectator base. So I won't get to see that either. OTOH, and by the same token, I wasn't planning to pay much attention anyway and it's kind of satisfying to see these spoiled, pampered athletes have to sit out an entire season and forgo all the attention and adulation they've become so used to and seem to expect as being owed to them. |

Join the club! Kentucky has had that since July 10th. Bars have re-closed and restaurants are back to only 25% capacity. This is definitely not going away.
