As I enter the 6th decade of life on this earth...A turkey sammich sounds really good right now! No, as I take a page from Thor's book on heart disease. I might have gotten 4 hours of sleep last night.

I actually like this commercial.  As long as I don't see it seven times a day.  Kudos's to the producers and writers.  Good layout and direction.  A lot of continuity went into this.

The book's title is History of Flight.  LOL  (Turkeys don't fly.)

Up at 'The Den in The Wilderness', we were surrounded by wildlife, including turkeys.
No, they don't fly.
Their social system is recognizable - the males do what they do and disappear, the females stuck with the children in tow are some of the meanest critters you never want to run into, and yes - they have small brains, too.
Using turkeys in the commercial was not a great analogy, but they CAN fix it by just re-shooting it in 'da hood and 'Mom' stealing a lawn mower after beating up ol'DoveDad (who she doesn't know)...('re-shooting'? poor choice of words?)

Maybe not those.  Here in FL they can fly enough to get up into trees.

I must say I've never seen a turkey in a tree, but I will correct myself somewhat by admitting that I have seen territorial turkeys run, hop & flap furiously with beaks ajar and making nasty noises when they feel their space has been violated. It is terrifying - they will attack cars full of people.

The wild turkey was almost chosen as the American symbol over the eagle back in the early days of the USA.

WinkBig smileGREAT POINT! THAT is true and also makes for a great 'trivia question' as 99% of those one speaks with has NO idea about that...then leave them hanging wondering about who/why/how on the Bald Eagle. 99.5% will not answer that.
