The British man who became a TV sensation, showing us the 'Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous' every weekend in the late '80s and early '90s, died from stroke compilations in Las Vegas. I hope Robin's enjoying his explorations of the rich and famous up in the sky. RIP!

I hope Robin is enjoying fountains of champagne and silver trays of caviar in his heavenly resting place. RIP Mr. Leach, the 80s wouldn't have been the same without you.
My ex-husband, who was from England, used to get a kick out of how Americans thought Robin Leach was this posh Brit, when in fact his accent was a bit downmarket.

What a blow to society! He was always good for picking on, yet entertaining. Not a person you could outright dislike. Thank You & RIP, Robin Leach. Sorry I couldn't find the notorious Old Navy commercial starring you, so I had to settle for something a little more current...

August is turning out to be a crappy month with random Celebrity Deaths. Aretha Franklin, Ed King, and Robin Leach all suddenly dead this month! :( RIP to all three. :(

I KNOW! What a tragic month. The only thing that could possibly make it worse would be if *I* suddenly croaked...but I don't plan to. Me? Why, IIIIiiiiii am planning on... ...even though I can't dance.

They all died from health-related issues as well. No suicides or drug ODs, thankfully.

Actually, I think I had an easier time with all this when it was all about the suicides and drug ODs. This "dying of old age" thing is hitting too close to home. |

As a matter of fact, just yesterday, I went to a lawyer and had my will done.
Sigh. |

Hey - just because it's their birthday and they're dead doesn't mean you can't celebrate their birthdays - heck, you can party like it's 1999! (Did someone say 'Prince'?!!! He's dead too! LET'S PARTY!!!)
