We have hated them before, but they are just getting funnier as they age! Some things are so silly - so stupid - one can almost do nothing other than laugh.
Here's two: First, one of my all-time favorites, still playing heavily and SIX years old: The second one has just started coming back, but I've always loved it, too. |

Back around 2004 GEICO had a funny ad involving squirrels and a 1980s station wagon. Here's how it went: The squirrel darted in front a blue station wagon with wood paneling. Then the wagon would swerve to the right it's left off screen. Then you hear the sound of and see a hub cap roll. Then you see the squirrel sit there until another squirrel comes into view from the right then they do a secret handshake. It aired for eons until at least 2006 or 2007 I loved that ad, was disappointed when it went off the air.
There's one that's still airing though that I still can't pinpoint its exact first airing. It's the gecko-parking-his-red-Austin-Healey-in-a-reserved-spot-on-a-white-background. It's gotta date to around at least 2003! |

One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
