This commercial just pisses me off on so many levels.

The premise is stupid and not funny as most crappy Geico commercials and the people in it (especially the woman) are beyond annoying.

Also who on Earth keeps a their own picture riding a motorcycle in their cubicle?

Ya have to wonder if the tall dork who informs us that he also has a motorcycle is actually fibbing.
I bet he has a motor scooter and never forgets his elbow and knee pads.

I kinda like the end, where the other doofus is talking about his "motorcycle" and the boss guy replies "Wonderful." with about the same tone and level of excitement that I would

Melancholy in their cries
Devoid of all the passion

It's so idiotic that Geico would suggest or encourage blowing off a day at work when all they care about is receiving their premium payment.

That song, "Going Up The Country" was by a band that has been denied for way too long for being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame......Canned Heat. I love that band!

The lead vocalist of that song was one of the first members of "The 27 Club".

AAMOF, he was inducted to it just a few weeks before Jimi and Janis.

Yea, Bob Hite suffered from severe depression and just never was good at socializing with anyone...he never really stood a chance (some people actually believe they can stay stoned enough long enough to get over whatever ails them...that never works and is a true recipe for failure)

Canned Heat is not in the Rock & Roll HOF. It's a bloody crime that garbage like Abba & RAP "artists" have been inducted and not this outstanding band!

I know, yet garbage like "The Beasty Boys" and Run DMC have been honoured as inductees to the R & R HOF, yet true, legitimate rockers like Canned Heat have been forgotten.
I think this is more of that disgusting PC mindset at work.

WinkThat's not what ol'Mule means by '27 Club' (age of death - and all three died very close together, if I recall correctly)

GEICO's sequel to this commercial will logically feature Canned Heat's version of "On the Road Again". I just realized I used GEICO and logically in the same sentence. Sorry.

Okay, I misunderstood what Jimbo meant. The 27 club also included the greatest blues musician who ever lived....Robert Johnson. It's scary how many awesome musicians died at that age.

It was Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson who died at the age of 27 when he was the lead singer of Canned Heat.  Bob Hite took his place as lead singer and then he passed away in 1981 at the age of 38.  Blind Owl on Sep 3, Jimi Hendrix on Sep 18 and Janis Joplin on Oct 4 in 1970.

I thought they did "On the Road Again" with a Willie Nelson impersonator but it turned out to be Volkswagen.
