Frankly at this point I'd rather see the puppet!

They can spin these ads anyway they like but I'd still rather eat out of my cat's litter box. Same with Arby's

My god this s--t is still on the air! The 'real meal for five bucks' ad is an instamute every damn time. Also the other KFC ad where another Colonel Sanders ripoff yells about a $10 meal with a football player. Seriously, just fk off KFC!
Back after a long absence...still hating those commercials. Go away Limu Emu and Doug!

Who might make for an acceptable Colonel?

I'll start:

Bernie Sanders?  (Heck, they might even be related?!)

Jackie Chan  (Alternate)

If Robin Williams would be alive, KFC may have made him the Colonel!

SNL might as well use this as a satire, have people be Colonel Sanders. One can be Christopher Walken...oh sh*t...I won't doubt Walken will be the next Colonel Sanders!

How many Colonels are there?  Sounds like the 1967 movie Casino Royale in which there were several James Bonds.

Humm, Christopher Walken...?
Not a bad idea actually.  Tongue

Of course, that would have to assume that KFC commercials could indeed get even weirder, and that's not a sure thing at this point!

They all look the same to me as I FF though the ads...  Wink

Quote If Robin Williams would be alive, KFC may have made him the Colonel!

It can still happen, as they can do anything with CGI these days.  It only depends on how much his heirs will sell out for...

This company's commercial quality has gone so far down the craphole, that I actually MISS the animated Colonel from the early 2000s. That's saying a lot!

Quite possibly the worst KFC commercials ever which is quite an accomplishment. There is a different $5 fill-up ad where "now give us 5 bucks" is replaced with something like "now go to KFC".Angry

Five bucks for food poisoning.  I'm not eating at KFC ever again.  Sick

Even if you get a freshly cooked batch of unpoisoned chicken, the customer service at the restaurants is hit and miss, and they are frequently out of what you want.

How many more fake Colonels are they going to barrage us with, complete with fake Southern accents?

I don't know which ads I hate worst between the KFC ads and the Burger King ads. Both are annoying beyond belief.
Hasn't the impression thing gone on long enough, or are there any more out of work, has-been comedians who want to step up and imitate Mr. Sanders.

I need to apologize to all members. The "go to KFC" was the $20 fill-up not a modified $5 fill-up.  I tend to automatically ignore all commercials. DRS. Like many fast food franchises KFCs are consistently inconsistent. 4 years ago I tried their chicken pot pie at a non local KFC. It was surprisingly good. 2 years ago I bought one to go at the local KFC. I could not break the crust with a sturdy kitchen knife! I was able to break it with a hammer and chisel!!! The filling was completely dried out! How many hours had it been under the heat lamps? Yet an employee served it to me! I did not return it as the way I deal with things like this is to learn my lesson and never return.

I haven't seen a KFC Christmas commercial in a few weeks, but I saw one again tonight, two days after Christmas. Not welcome.

No offense to the tall, skinny man in the back, but he has a punchable face that I can't seem to ignore.

Also, KFC has been giving us a slew of celebrity guest Colonels, and then...this guy. Who in the world is this guy??

The ads aren't any worse than the greasy, slimy, soggy "chicken" they sell... The breading is the best thing about what they serve. Even the sides are bad. Frankly, Hungry Jack makes better instant potatoes, with less of that metallic preservative wang "flavoring". Popeyes biscuits are so much better than the hockey pucks KFC puts out, too.
