Folks:
I hate with a passion ALL Liberty Mutual car insurance commercials featuring the smug and self-assured actors with the Statute of Liberty in the background. It grates me to have these individuals smugly explaining why you were so stupid to choose an insurance company other then Liberty Mutual. The commercial featuring the woman who named her car "Brad" is so annoying and grating that I have to hit the "mute button" each time it appears. I want to duck tape her mouth shut, punch her senseless, and then do "my happy dance" on her unconscious body! |

I see you're new here. Welcome. "Brad" and Liberty Mutual rants are fairly common around here, and there have been many posts on the subject. I just wanted to point out however, that your proposed use of duct tape, punching, and subsequent victory "Happy Dance" don't go nearly as far as most others here. You might want to re-think your options... |

Thank you for the "welcome!" I knew I could not be the only individual who found the Liberty Mutual commercials so annoying! I deliberately kept my response "mild" as I didn't want to go "all Ninja" with my first post out of the blocks! |

I hate Brad!! One of the most annoying insurance commercials today, right next to any of those "It's What You Do" Geico ads, and Flo Progressive ads.

My thoughts:
In a prior post, I suggested that Lady Liberty get off her pedestal and go "whack-a-mole" this Brad bitch into the pavement, in part, for ruining her good name. Although... I suppose Lady Liberty knows how to use duct tape. Could be entertaining if done right...? |

Helloooo! I mean come on, she just tapped the bumper of that damned station wagon that dared to be occupying the space that she wasn't paying attention to. It's no big deal! This little entitled freak DESERVES accident forgiveness. By virtue of being alive and being herself, she's earned it.
Yea, for me, this one's worse than Brad. Not by much, but definitely worse.

Torque ratios, spreadsheets? Who does that? Then she blames the insurance company because she slammed the car into a tree. Wonder if she was wearing those high heels as she certainly can't walk on grass with them.

Thanks for locating this Liberty Mutual commercial! Every time I see this ad, I wonder if she is going to "fall" off her heels... she certainly does not know how to walk in them! |

I like that your hatred makes you want to enact violence on this prissy little ho-bag, because I feel the same way multiple times a day with many commercials, including this piece of trash. It's not easy being so bitter all the time :)

I'm glad someone else noticed the "walk". I hate this commercial more than the other Liberty Mutual ads. If just happen to Slam your new car into a tree" chances are you shouldn't have been driving un the first place.

I hate the look on her face when she talks about totaling Brad. It's like she thinks you did it on purpose.

The attack on Paris from Isis really put things in perspective of what's important for me. In other words I don't give a about these ads anymore!

Ah, Liberty, how I hate thee and thy shills. Here is my routine:
There's the oriental (Japanese?) girl, who tells me I pay my insurance premiums "like clockwork"...clucks like a chicken...bawk BAWK bawk. I then strut around the kitchen, bawk BAWK bawk! bawk BAWK bawk! Hah, jokes on you, NO I DON'T!! SOMETIMES I DON'T PAY AT ALL!!! HA HA!! Then there's the black couple who are PERFECT drivers!!! Poor guy looks like he's about as dumb as a brick wall and more henpecked than a barnyard! I'd hate to be married to either one of those clowns. The self-righteous office monster in her high heels, man she is the WORST! Struts around with her ass stuck out, reminds of that hen that was always chasing after Foghorn Leghorn. Her name was Prissy, I think. Yup, that's Miss Prissy, to a tee! HA HA!!! I strut around the kitchen for a while with my ass stuck out when I see her LoL Then there's the brown-bagging office douche who drinks GALLONS of coffee, probably over-exaggerates EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE. He's a punchable fellow, ain't he? LOL I don't see Brad much, but I'd like to push her over that railing. She's a clinger. Girlfriend from hell, that one. Let's see, did I miss anyone? |

They are going after the bitter flag-waving irresponsible Tea Party types who blame others for their misfortunes. Hence they love to show their ads during sporting events when they are watching.
The one with the girl who names her car is supposed to represent the sports dude's stupid girlfriend who names her car or wife who's likely watching with him or has joined in the rah-rah.

AND there is a new one: blue shirt guy who tells me I slammed into a deer. Another "leaning against the rail" a la "Brad" style.
"Dear" Liberty Mutual and your sh*t faux fear inducing Bots: your commercials only make me hate you with a passion that exceeds every other consideration that might make me even CONSIDER buying insurance from you. You could offer me insurance for a mere dollar a month, and I would *STILL* say, "No, just No." Hell, if you OFFERED to PAY ME to be insured by you, I would laugh in your face. Dear Readers: Think about this here: Liberty sh*t Insurance spends TENS of MILLIONS of dollars on their ad campaigns. If they pulled back only 1/10 of that effort, we'd all have lower premiums. Same with Geico, State Farm, and on and on. These people are SLIME. I'm going with the GENERAL, or maybe MINI MO, no, scratch those.... I'm going to set up my own freaking insurance company, that promises not to spend ONE FREAKING DIME on television commercials, or other commercials, pure word of mouth. WHO IS WITH ME? TIME TO TAKE THESE PIKERS DOWN A NOTCH!!!!!!! |

There's also a new one where a couple are talking about perfect driving records, and the way they interact with one another suggests that, even while they keep saying "you", they're actually talking about themselves.

I agree. Seems like I can't get away from their crappy "Same format" commercials. I try to change the channel if I'm close to the remote. Many times they have another one of their piece of crap commercials on my alternate channel. Sickening to see them all. Unfortunately I have a Liberty policy. I'm going to cancel it soon & will tell them that I'm doing it because I can't get away from their commercials. Who wants to be pounded by this crap all day long.

Telling someone that it is OK to destroy your car at no ones fault but your own is not only irresponsible but, an insult to those of us who do NOT name our cars, do NOT slam them into a tree as soon as we buy them, learn how to parallel park...If you think you are going to get great understanding from Liberty Mutual AFTER your first accident, you WON'T be doing a "happy dance"!

I HATE this one, the guy sounds like a robot!
iSpot removed the ad - "per request of LM" Screenshots remain THIS one has been driving me nuts - "Next thing you know you hydroplane into a ditch....YEAH!" - Like this is shocking? It happens all the time, especially if you're an a**hole and driving way too fast in bad weather! |
