Thank god. Hated that stupid reality game show. Hark hark hark ha ha ha ha he fell in the water, he's so stupid - hahaha!! NOT. ABC should be ashamed of themselves for even greenlighting it in the first place. Maybe they can replace it with something more entertaining like a REAL drama or comedy series.

I didn't mind the stupidity and silliness of the actual course and contestant attempts; it was the asinine, cruel, and pathetically immature dialogue by the hosts that made it incredibly vile.

It could have been a great show if only there had been less of this kind of Wipeout....

& more of this kind of Wipeout....

There was a time when I liked shows like American Gladiator, shows that truly challenge the human spirit along with athletic ability.
I'm not in good shape anymore.

Eh not a great show sorta entertaining, No big loss. I find MXC more entertaining but that was English dubbed version of a Japanese game show. That show was pretty stupid too. I think it used air on Spike. I think it's long gone by now.
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

Clap Yay! American Gladiators! I grew up with that show. Lazer, Blade, Turbo and the rest of them with all all the cool 80's nicknames.
Say something clever here...

No, I'm too lazy. Imagine it yourself.

The commentary was the second-best part of the show (Jill Wagner was the best part. Wink
Sounds like Wipeout was bumped so that Astronaut Wives Club could have the timeslot.  That will be a real ratings success ...  LOL

Guilty Pleasure.  Embarrassed

Yeah, the commentary was obnoxious and mean spirited at times.  But it provided some cheap laughs and the course designs were creative.

That said, I'm not going to cry too much over this show.

I can't even begin to imagine how many medical release forms those contestants had to sign. Some of those people looked like they could have really gotten hurt. I'm surprised they made 8 seasons.

I don't know if I'd sign my rights for a Lawsuit away if I knew I'd get hurt, just to be able to be on TV. I remember a woman refusing to sign her rights away when a prank TV show scared virtually scared her into a heart attack. She won her lawsuit
