Okay, I'm seriously angry on this one. I can't comprehend how in anyway, this can be perceived as funny. I feel sorry for the innocent people subject to these damn twats who don't seem to give two flying hoots about them because they were eating a Milky Way? Uh no, I'm sorry, but I can't stand it when commercials showing people acting like a jackass just because it's the common thing. This commercial along with a sister advert wants me to go into my television set, and knock the daylights out of every single careless person who says sorry because they were eating a Milky Way. And I thought I had seen all, but, no, I have seen these a few times and the more I've watched them, the more I've wanted to knock those sorry speaking fools the [censored word] out.

WinkI can appreciate the simple humor, here. I actually get a kick out of 'No Regerts'.

That's only clever part of this commercial, actually. The rest of it is just vile and stupid.

The Milky Way probably came after the 'Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde' transformation.

The longer version:

Has one of my "favorite" moments with the cruise ship captain. Ok, so you're captaining along and get distracted by your candy bar, we get that. Milky Way bars are just that awesome. But wait, you've run aground, disembarked, gathered for a town (island) meeting... all before you take your second bite of the candy bar. (With an indignant "f**k y'all, my candy is more important than your lives" look on his face).

So what was going on BEFORE you grabbed your snack? You went off course and ran into a small island in the time it took to take one bite of a candy bar?

I guess we are supposed to be happy that he saw to the safety of all hands before he finished his treat, but I'm still suing the cruise line, because I obviously cell-phone-recorded his candy confession.

This slogan never made sense to me.  You could replace Milky Way with anything and it would have the same impact.

"I'm sorry, I was texting on my cell phone"

"I'm sorry, I was playing Angry Birds"

"I'm sorry, I was watching Game of Thrones"

I think those would make more sense than a f**king candy bar being the source of the distraction.

Y'know, this is one of the rare cases an ad would benefit from some "food porn"

As these are, we just see the aftermath, which is a bit stupid and makes the joke fall flat. If they showed maybe a few seconds of the "sorry" person eating and enjoying the Milky Way first, we'd at least have some context to the ad...

Don't they do that?  In each scenario in the posted commercials, I see the "sorry" person eating the candy bar.

I just can't imagine a candy bar putting me into that sort of a zone...unless it's laced with Xanax or something.

Worse than not funny, the message is "if you want to be error prone and incompetent, eat a Milky Way." The previous series stated or implied that a Milky Way helps avoid errors (KC CHEFS) by correcting blood sugar problems when a person is hungry. Does the developer of this series not have a focus group or other feedback mechanism?
