I think I've mentioned here before how difficult it's been to clean my textured (grainy) shower stall floor. Or maybe I haven't. I dunno. Anyway, it was bad when I bought the house, and no matter what I tried, nothing worked, and the floor became even more blackened, sort of in a pattern that extended outward from the drain like a 4-pointed star, and covered about 1/2 the area of the stall floor. I tried bleach, rubbing alcohol, every cleaning product out there, even paint thinner. I scrubbed, used steel wool, covered the drain and let bleach sit on it overnight---everything. Nothing worked. The other day, my neighbress came over with a scrub brush and bottle of this Street Appeal Auto Degreaser that she got at the Dollar Tree after looking up how to clean shower floors on the net. She tried it out on a small section. I did the rest. Worked great. Still required a bit of scrubbing, but maybe only 15 minutes worth. It's even easier if you spray it on the floor and let it sit. And only $1. I can imagine how well it works on engines and wheels and garage floors and stuff. I recommend it. |

Does that mean you're dating now? Does she get a clean towel and use of your ped-egg?
Let us know if that stuff works on toe nail fungus, too - sounds like it should, doncha know...

When it comes to cutting through grease like a hot knife thru butter, I like this stuff...
Works so good, it's like using that GoJo hand cleaner that car mechanics use in repair shops. I even use it for that. I've been literally up to my elbows in thick, black, dirty motor grease, used this stuff, sprayed it off with the garden hose & I was clean as a baby. Even takes off that black roof patching goop. |

Purple Power's good for grease, too. Didn't work on my shower floor, though. |

Different types of degreasers are good for different types of grease.
The only thing I've ever used Greased Lightning for, was cleaning my skin after working on my car or getting roof patching goop off of me. Think I used it to clean inside my oven before, too. Worked good for that. |

Wilma Flintstone once got rid of Fred's ring-around-the-collar by scrubbing his neck.
Maybe you should wash your feet and avoid shower floor funk in the first place?

That's what's supposed to happen in the shower. So I don't know what the black stuff is. Combo dirt/soap/dead skin, all ground into the grainy texture? People in my 'hood who have the same shower stall have this same problem. Bad design, in my opinion. |

If it's one of those molded acrylic shell type stalls they sell at Lowe's Depot, or that you get from those Bath Fitter people, you probably will have various mold & gunk issues.
Even old fashioned porcelain tubs & ceramic tile lined shower stalls get some mold, it's just easier to clean off. |

Yeah, it's acrylic or something. The grainy texture really holds the gunk. One of my neighbors who had the same type of stall, used a wire brush to clean it. He doesn't recommend it, though. |

Now, are you just trying to confuse an ol'Wolf? Just because her father is closer to your age, I don't think you should date him, even if he DOES supply the 'Street Appeal Auto Degreaser' with a hearty smile.

That was another neighbress, Diana. This one's Kelsey. She lives with my friend/neighbor Jason, and they have a 1 year-old together. She just likes having someone to smoke with. She's no hussy. She even gets grossed out whenever I make a sex joke. So, of course that encourages me to keep makin' 'em. |
