The Carpenters were OK, but yes, they were also wussy.

Are the carpenters REALLY that wussy? Yes. Commercial for pickup trucks I have no interest in. Strike one. Sappy Carpenter's tune. Strike two. AC/DC. Strike three. Chevrolet. Yeeeeer OUT!!!

Watch 1408 and you'll get a different take on the Carpenters' music LOL

The "Rainy Days and Mondays" guy should ride public transportation! Having to deal with being a low-life and...what the f**k is wrong with Chevy?

And yes...I now hate "Back is Black" more than "Highway to Hell"!

But...give me "Rainy Days and Mondays" anyday....

At any rate, here it is (only version I could find and you have to kinda crank the volume to hear the music), for a jalapeno burger like you recalled:

Nope, no Hardees either, seems that was the one, though I still dunno why Carl's Jr was advertising here.

Are you from New England? There's NO Hardee's nor Carl's Jr. there...and none in Cleveland either.

^^ I'm down in southeast Texas - we have Carl's Jr here.  The nearest Hardee's places are over in Louisiana.

And here's the stupid-ass Super Bowl ad. I knew right away this was fake. Ermm

Hey, Chevy... What if the government didn't bail you out? Just sayin'.

Now we know why they're playing "Back in Black" because Chevy is Back in the Black.  Government bailout, yeah!  Clap  Tongue

So, now we should buy trucks because we can watch TV in them?  Dead

It wasn't that long ago when pickups were for picking up and hauling stuff. Nowadays they have just enough room to do the honey-do list like picking up a bag of mulch.
Within 5 yrs. someone will come out with a triple cab complete with recliner and popcorn machine.
