I always wondered why this product was not available. I wanted to try it until I saw the price! Something like $3 per 1/4 pound patty!!! I can get an original cheeseburger at my local Dairy Queen which fortunately is a brazier for $1.89. As much as I hate paying $3 per pound for decent ground beef I would really hate paying $12 per pound for pre cooked patties.

Yeah, sometimes there's just principle involved.  A 1/4lb burger for $3??  Unh-unh.

I checked current prices They are now $9 for 6 patties that is still $1.50 each and they have mysteriously shrunk to 3 ounces. That is still $8 per pound for ground beef. Outrageous! I could buy really good rib eye or porterhouse steak for that price.

Well, you can't really get a fast food burger and fries for less than $5. I just thought, if their good, it might be nice to have some in the house in case we are to lazy to cook or don't want to go out.

I like these, mostly because they're a cinch to cook. I usually find a package of 6 for around $7.12 at Walmart. Sometimes there's coupons for a dollar off in the circulars in the mail.

Yeah I think the convenience of just popping it in the microwave then throwing a burger together *might* make up for the steep price per pound. It better be a tasty burger patty though.

When I get hot dogs, I usually get Ball Park brand.  So I may give these a try if I can find them.

I occasionally get the Johnsonville Grillers---specifically, the Italian sausage ones.  Six 1/3lb patties for $6 (but I get them on sale for $4).  They're not pre-cooked, but cooking a patty doesn't take more than 10 minutes.  Slap it on a bun with some spaghetti sauce, and it's pretty damned good.
