DeadThanks to our teachers...there just HAD to be one more thing I needed to learn.
Really, 'Kevin'? Chalk WITHOUT hot sauce?!
Dead...maybe a little 'flavor enhancement' would help?

So where is the alka & where is the seltzer in a fruit chew?

That's like Pepto Bismal potato chips or something.

Nice point. The obvious never hit me - no plop, no fizz, just relief.

Are Tums that horrible?  Is Kevin such a 7 y/o that he needs fruity chewy antacid?  Maybe so.  I see there's another commercial that advertises the equivalent of chewy Flintstone vitamins for adults---I guess because taking actual adult-style vitamins is too much to expect from doofuses like Kevin.

WinkIt's o.k. Thor - the market is now pandering to our children and those young enough to be our grandchildren, the 'new adults' - 'Generation Haribo'.

Yeah, back in the day the remedy for heartburn was to whack your thumb with a hammer. That took your mind off your indigestion pretty quick.

Sam's Club chalk antacids all day long. Taste better'n Tumms, and about 1/6 the cost.

Come up with an antacid pizza or cheeseburger & you've got my attention.

Or maybe antacid chocolate ice cream.

Come up with those & I'm all in.

The latest thing I've hear about treating heartburn & acid reflux is to put some of that nasal saline solution in your nostrils & let it drain back into your throat.

Saw Dr. Oz talking about it & my mom who's suffered from it said it really works.

So I tried it & damned if it didn't!!!

^^^That's interesting but makes me wonder if drinking a little salt water would achieve the same thing.

The best I've had were these lemon-creme ones that came in a roll---either Mylanta or Maalox.  I dunno if they still make 'em, though.  This was like 20 years ago.

(slowly raising hand...) Cry I use the gummy vitamins. Or the liquid ones. I can't swallow those huge horse pills. Choked on 3 separate occassions and brother, that is NOT something to laugh at. Scared the ever loving snot out of me.

Who the heck would chalk to relieve heartburn?
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
