Hi gang,

As you'll notice on the front page of the CIH Forums there's now a Facebook widget.
Today, there are 1755 people who "Like" CIH Forums on Facebook, which is more than the total number of members on the CIH Forums.

If you're on Facebook, you can click the "Like" button to get posts, videos and updates from CIH on your Facebook news feed.

Liking CIH on Facebook is a great way to introduce CIH to your friends, acquaintances, and that weird guy who you haven't seen since kindergarten.

If you would like your profile to that kindergarten guy, then why haven't you "liked" us yet?

Your forum username is different from your Facebook name,
so you can be confident posing on Facebook as Barbara Smith,
and posting here as "Foxy Ad Slut", with no one the wiser.

(Sorry if I blew your cover Barbara.)

So get your mouse pointer on up there and click the "Like" button,
and make your wasted time on Facebook just a little more wasteful.
I mean fun. More fun.

Knew it the moment you did it - been lookin' & considerin', Nate...not sure if I'm buyin', yet - but that's ME (being the overly abnormal skeptic) - to all others? This looks great - jump in! I'm awfully sure I'll be there shortly.

So, that's called a widget?  Hmmmm...never knew.

I need a dictionary for all the tech advertising terms.  I know banners, crawls, pop-ups and a few others.

Anyone know what that little icon that pops up at the bottom of the TV screen advertising other TV shows is called?  "Spider" or something?

"Widget" sounds like a personal issue.

Like a wedgie, on a midget.  A midget wedgie, if you will.

Well, considering that most people's "friends" on Facebook are people they've never met...

You're right about that, I guess.  But the difference might be that, at CIH, we're not called "friends".  We're called "commercial haters".

I am a Facebook member,  I joined originally thinking it was another way to connect with others as I was job hunting.

Since then, I have re-connected with over 200 real friends.   I have actually met most of them.  There is now a group of us that meet once a month at a pizza joint.  Last month there were over 60 there.

Hey, it's no fun to get old alone.

Hmmmm...I always thought the typical Facebook account had hundreds of "friends".  I've even heard of people with thousands.

I know someone with, as of this moment: 4,089 friends.

I doubt she really knows most of them.

But hey!  Did anyone else notice?  Napoleon Dynamite as a fan of CIH.

Maybe she's just easy.  Reeeeally easy.

I'll have to look for Napoleon.
