I'm getting annoyed with the ads that feel the need to put a "Dramatization", "Movement depicted for dramatic effect", etc disclaimer on what should be obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells.  A few off the top of my head:

Most TRU commercials: "Movement depicted for dramatic effect" when showing CGI toys flying, walking, etc.

Cascade, Listerine, etc shows "superheroes" forming from the detergent/mouthwash.  How anyone could think that actually happens baffles me.

Don't forget the medicine ads that have CGI renderings of how it works.  We KNOW it's CGI and that lungs/stomach/intestines/brain cells don't really have big happy-colored blocks in them.

Or did people really go to the makers and say "Little guys didn't destroy my plaque/cooking grease!"

They'll put anything on tv as long as it effects people and makes them believe things.

I know; it seems like some twisted version of "does what it says on the tin"...the need to spell out "it doesn't really cause little army men to appear in your mouth/dishwasher/pet's fur" is baffling....but as we've seen many times before, intelligence is a dying breed.

On the flip side, I've seen really dangerous/dumb stunts in ads that don't have "don't try this at home"...yet an ad with some kid hopping into a minivan through the open cargo hatch has "do not attempt".
