I think there's a documentary on TLC called "My Fake Baby" and it shows
these women in the UK who have these realistic baby dolls instead of
real children. Kinda odd if you ask me

Certainly not newborn ones. Newborn anythings are quite ugly. It takes awhile for the "cuteness" to be activated. Maybe that's why some animals eat their newborns.
