I'm not sure what bothers me more about this overplayed ad:
  • hot & sweaty old church town hall, taking place in the late 1800's (everywhere but the podium table, where it is at least 2009)
  • the brought-to-life cartoon granny from the other Credit Karma commercial.
  • 'Mayor Deakins' voice and jet0black hair to go with his white beard
  • The fact any man wearing a hat is wearing the same kind of hat, other than the mayor.
  • Bart. I was wondering if he was really a cardboard cut-out - he doesn't speak or move, much less bat an eye.
