Heaven help me but I'm going to have to throw my vote to the kids singing the Beach Boys "In My Room". What makes it worse, it's a commercial for St. Jude's so I really hate hating it but I can't help it.
The artist formerly known as Madawee

My #1 for sure is the Fiber One commercials using a bastardization of "Total Eclipse Of The Heart." Followed quickly by that Dell commercial using that horribly sung, off key rendition of "This Magic Moment."

Tena Twist is always awful whether it's the original or the new version.

Equally bad is the one that used a barely disguised clone of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream." And there's yet another that has "Time Of My Life" sung to the tune of Lady Gaga's "The Edge Of Glory."

I hate those Hydroxycut commercials with that annoying song "I wanna live free" while the chick in her mini dress is dancing around like a hoochie mama.

There was some commercial where this girl rock climbing (Capital One? Some credit card). At the end of the commercial she's standing on top of this huge rock formation and this lady screeching out some lyrics that sounds like "SOMEBODY LEFT THE GATE OOOOOPEN!" Those aren'tt the actual lyrics but I could never tell exactly what the person was singing and that's just what it sounds like, lol.

The one that drives me nuts is the one where a guy in armor starts singing some happy song, and the guy in armor on the ground who he's about to kill joins in. Don't know the game or the song, just pure hate.
Also, zombies falling from the sky to "Happy Together".
And the prophet said:
"And lo, the beast looked upon the face of beauty. And it stayed its hand from killing. And from that day it was as one dead".

That was for Play Station 4.  But the song (Perfect Day, by Lou Reed) isn't really a happy song.  It was Reed's love (or love/hate) song to heroin.

Oh it's such a perfect day, I'm glad I spent it with you
Oh such a perfect day, you just keep me hangin' on

Well, they sing it like it's a happy song. I guess that, and putting it in a commercial about make believe killing, is what's so hilarious, at least to the junior high mentality that came up with the idea.

^  An article I read said that the song was appropriate, considering the addictive nature of video games.  I doubt that's what the advertisers were thinking, though.  For that to be a consideration, they'd have to think that PS4 players are even somewhat familiar with the song or Lou Reed...unless maybe they were being tongue-in-cheek.

There's a new cat food commercial with a song that goes something like
"I must confess...when I wear this dress...I feel like dancing..the whole night with you"
What the hell does that have to do with cat food?? Not to mention that the singer has a horribly nasal voice...ugh.
Braaaandy Aaaaalexaaaaaander!
