Hate that sound-alike crap.   The music in this Citi Visa spot sounds strikingly similar to a recent huge hit:  Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People.  Yes it does sound like it.

As if the original was anything to get excited over in the first place.

"Pumped Up Kicks" was just more ear-candy for the ADD-riddled top-40 addict kiddies to listen to. All the rest of us are still mourning the death of REAL music.

I have to admit, I actually really like "Pumped Up Kicks"...I'm no fan of most modern music, but I really have to admit I love that song.

Same here. My job streams Slacker Radio, and it's usually to the indie rock station. That song is on my "songs to download" list, along with a few others I've heard in commercials or on TV, but never knew the name of.

I always look the songs up, and find they were pretty successful on Billboard, thus restoring my faith in people's musical tastes. Wink LOL

Honestly, I like 'Pumped Up Kicks'...I don't know why. Usually I exclusively listen to music from the 60's and 70s. I hate modern music. But there's something really catchy about the song.

I hate it when ad companies do a sound-alike, though.

This ad is just a redo of the "somebody left the gate open" climbing chick. Same mundane descriptions.
