Bud Light: Rescue Dog

   This year, Bud Light has only one stupid ad in the Superbowl.
Anheuser Busch is focusing most of their 2010 Super Bowl ad dollars on its Budweiser Brand and the new Bud Light Platinum, leaving Bud Light with just one cartoonish, kindergarten-colored backyard Bud-Fest.

Playing off of last year's concept of dogs who can fetch you Bud Light, (and how great that would be) - this ad introduces a "Rescue Dog" named Weego. (Here Weego, get it? No?) Clawing desperately at the hope that Americans will associate the phrase "Here We Go" with bud Light, and this will inexplicably translate into more sales - Bud Light shouts "Here Weego" about a dozen times before the ad mercifully ends.

The nice thing about this ad is that the dog in the commercial is supposedly a real rescue dog, and the ad ends with a call-to-action to help rescue dogs, which I think is sweet.

Thanks Bud - still won't drink your beer -but thanks all the same.

	Funny ad, but I don't think it will cause people to associate "here we go" with Bud Light.
