Here's even more dickery from Bud Light. Superstitious sports fans campaign. And they're using the song ... guess what ... "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder. A-derrrrrrrrrr... how original. Ermm

I can't stand the creepy bald guy in the second clip, and the 49ers fan in clip #3 needs psychiatric help.

While I agree with you, I have a thing for the tight little package in that ad.

So, by the logic of this stupid commercial, it is not weird to engage in sexual congress with a goat before each game if it helps your team win?
Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.

Clip #2 is the worst for me. These buffoons were amazed that a field goal kicker .... kicked a field goal. And they credit this "amazing" "oddity" to their act of supertitition. Were they not expecting a field goal kicker to be able to, in fact .... kick a field goal?

While Bud Light may or may not be magical, it is clear from these commercials that drinking it makes one really stupid.

Interesting point about the use of the song Superstitious made over at  http://www.onefoottsunami.com/2013/01/17/bad-ads-bud-light-commercials/ - One Foot Tsunami.

I can't hear that song without thinking of these commercials, but I do get a kick out of these ads. The bald guy actually reminds me of another guy I know lol...

Funny thing is, I have my own quirky football superstitions, so I get where these ads are coming from.

How funny that one commercial has a guy going back to the apartment he lived when the 9ers last won it all? Now they're headed back.

Yeah that friggin' Vince Vaughn wannabe talking about the 'parallel dimension,' I'd like to take his bottle and smash it across his smug face, then laugh at him as the kicker makes the field goal anyway.

As ads go, the idea for this one isn't terrible. However, the practice of "let's run this concept into the ground" is alive and well. No commercial, even if mildly interesting, can survive multiple viewings.

Hate these commercials with a burning passion. Do field goal kickers miss more than 2% of the time? Also, if you've got the time to explain your superstition between plays, you're watching a damn boring sport. My "superstition" when I watch hockey, is dont talk to me while I'm watching hockey if you wanna keep all of your teeth.

It's a dumb ad, but it's no different than praying to an imaginary God.
