Tim Tebow and Aaron Rodgers in multiple ads just sitting around bored stiff.
They're not interesting and not at all entertaining... Why do they have to plague every commercial break.
I am willing to give Clay Matthews and Brett Farve a break because they are actually playing football in their ads.
Retired players that carry footballs around in their everyday lives are also on my sh*t list...

Yeah it's like what the hell, are they expecting a game of flag football to break out just like how in musicals everybody starts bustin' out into song at the drop of a hat?

I wish there was a law that only allowed athletes to do ads for one company at a time. I don't mind them shilling instead of playing their sport, but I don't need to see Aaron Rodgers do State Farm ads* then Pizza Hut.

Although, yeah, I miss the days of athletes at least loosely tying their craft to what they sell. Like hump said, Clay and Brett do that. There was one with Tony Romo for Pepsi a few years ago, where he's on the field. Even if it was something like "Hi I'm Aaron Rodgers, and when I'm not throwing touchdowns, I'm simply throwing down on some pizza!"

*I'm not a Packers fan, but I hate the State Farm commercials for the plain and simple fact that everyone is such a jackass to Aaron Rodgers. First the condescending couple in the office, then the bratty kids at Career Day. Even if it was in Chicago, Minneapolis, or Detroit, there's no way in hell that kids would act like that, regardless of the guest because the teacher would put him or her in line immediately (I did a few Career Days and the worst was that the kids were just a little chatty). But more importantly, the kids wouldn't listen to anyone else because, y'know, there's a SUPER BOWL CHAMPION QUARTERBACK in the room!

Sorry for the rant...Embarrassed

I did like the commercials he did with Deon Sanders as little football fairies.

His Papa John's commercials are OK.

They'd be better if Papa John wasn't in them, though.

Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

I am a hater of many things on TV ..... so I will have to do what I know best: Hate commercials.
