Blasting Video Internet Ads

Has anyone else experienced this new trend in internet video ads? 
I was watching a video online late at night. I had the volume on the player turned down to almost nothing as to not disturb others.  The clip I was watching ended.  Then an ad comes on blasting at full volume.
When I went to turn it down, I quickly learned that they had somehow disabled my abliity to change the volume on the player.
I was forced to mute my whole comupter with the hard mute button on it.

That's just evil.  They need to stop doing that.  I want to be able to control how loud it is for my enviornment.  Plus if I was wearing headphones it probably would have actually damaged my hearing.

	Yeah. They always come up with ways to force you to pay attention. In Photobucket, as your selected photo is being downloaded, an ad comes on. Even after your photo is downloaded and you select "return to album", there's a delay of about 4 seconds before you can escape that page and its ad. It's a long 4 seconds. When I go to watch an online news clip, the clip is always preceeded by some loud ad, and I'm held captive if I wanna see the news item. Often, I just don't wanna hear it, and I back out of that page.

	^ But, if you have AdBlock (not to use with IE) you don't have to bear any ads! AB will block them! But the pre-video ad block works only for YouTube clips... Not also in online videos...
