I honestly remember this jingle from when I was a kid, 25 or so years ago. You'd think they could come up with a new one every couple decades..

 ...believe it or not...I never knew anything about EMPIRE until we 'retired' up north...saw it the first time while in Long Island, addressing a contract, maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Then...wouldn't you know - just early last week, while son & self were on Southern U.S.A. road trip, I saw it in Virginia - shocked the heck out of me.

Pa, it was a local Chicago business, which gradually expanded to a national one, over the years (advertising on 'superstation WGN had a lot to do with it)
